I know charting with Acid is similar but the UI is pretty different and some people asked so here it is.
First you need Acid Pro 7 dl trial Acid PRo 7 then, get a crack whatever of you don't wanna buy.
Audio File - mp3, m4a, ogg whatever
Then for the tutorial open up Acid Pro. Then, use that bar at the bottom and drag the audio on stage picture if you don't know what i'm talking about http://img34.imageshack.us/i/openingupaudio.png/ Click Insert at the top bar and Click Midi Track or just use shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Q
So, now you have the audio and midi up on stage then Click on Enable Midi Editing and make the midi the same length as audio http://img186.imageshack.us/i/midistuff.png/
The three lanes you're gonna be charting on are C5 D5 E5 http://img220.imageshack.us/i/midiplacement.png/
Then once you make your track export midi under FileExport Midi then choose destination
Then once you've exported was i usually do is export midi open up Audition insert audio but make sure you have the place its stetted at 0 cuz then it'll go off sync, When play the track so then insert midi using Alt+M then Click on Sequencer http://img260.imageshack.us/i/auditionthing.png/
Once, that's opened up do what says in image http://img121.imageshack.us/i/exportingmikdifromaudti.png/ after thats done go to http://en.nemidi.com/conversor/mid2xml.html Choose File set timestamp to absolute and download XML Click convert then drag to your desktop. Use thebitingcat's converter dl link: http://www.mediafire.com/?qvky3tnmj2e and Mattster has this code you put in the Acid midi file if you don't wanna do the Audition thing
Then open up the program browse for the XML and click convert then you should have the tap file on your desktop now just make a folder TRACKNAME.track put the m4a and plist in there. UPDATE: Just naming it something like testtrack.track will make a leaderboard
wow pretty cool, I already know how to chart but nice work!
