@transhuman7 The 6 trillion gibberish keeps getting pushed into the discussion. It is a Orwellian creation of people referencing faulty sources and pure fiction. There is probably 10 trillion barrels lock up in shale around the world in little vapors, drips, and residues... It matters not. Not more than 30 or 50 billion barrels of the stuff will ever make it to the surface of the earth. It would consume more energy to get it out of the ground than it will provide --that is an energy sink!

I made a youtube video to help people prepare for all of this. It's called, "Preparing for Peak Oil"...

America is sitting on a ocean of oil and natural gas, but the problem is the ECO Nazis insist on blocking any attempt to access these massive untapped reserves via legal actions, based on the false theory of global warming, which is a massive hoax. More and more evidence is coming to the fore that man made global warming is nothing more than a power play by the radical left to control the people via gov't interventions to create a Socialist American nightmare.
Their leaders are Obama/Pelosi.
For the past 30 years, "several" oil fields have been found? Saudi Arabia will peak in about 10 years. They have the largest supply of oil in the world. To say several oil fields have been discovered to last 200 years, that translates into 6 trillion barrels at current consumption rates, not taking into consideration future increase. Current proven reserves are estimated at between 800 billion and 1.2 trillion barrels. You'd think something like 6 trillion barrels of oil would hit the news, no?

even if all Iraq's oil was available right now it will only stave off the inevitable for a couple of years. asia is consuming oil faster than the USA. Research it
