Santa Sighting

In 1992, a young girl began to question the existence of Santa Claus. The children in her class insisted that he was not real.

As doubt slowly spread, the girl witnessed a change in the atmosphere of the classroom. Gone was the excitement, the smiles and laughter that typically consumed the children as the holiday approached.

It was then that the young girl had an idea. She would have her parents film Santa's visit on Christmas Eve. If the children needed to see in order to believe, she would show them that Santa Claus did exist and that the magic of the season was still very much alive.

The night of Christmas Eve, the young girl waited in anticipation for the following morning. Waiting for Santa was a glass of milk, some cookies, a carrot for Rudolph, and a letter of faith from the young girl to the man she so adamantly believed in.

Christmas morning, she rushed upstairs and begged her parents to play the tape.

This is the clip that reaffirmed a young girl's faith in Christmas, and made believers of nonbelievers everywhere.

Note: This footage was filmed Christmas Eve 1992 and has been shown to friends and family over the years. With the current economic situation in America, the young girl (now a young woman) felt that it was time for her family's video to be released. During this time of hardship, she hopes that this reminds people of the faith they once had as children a belief in Santa Claus, and all that he represents.
