Severe police action as thousands of Occupy protesters fill Times Square

Tens of thousands of people in hundreds of cities around the word have been venting their fury against the greed of the big banks - and the debt management inflicted by their governments. Inspired by the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement in Manhattan, protests took hold in Europe, Asia, and around the U.S. - with some turning violent. In New York, there were dozens of arrests as police moved to contain the rally. Here's RT's Lucy Kafanov.

There is no such thing as corporate greed. It is called getting what you work for. The reason many people are upset with corporate America is because they are free loaders. The people who get big pay checks are the ones who worked hard to get where they are. A majority of protestors could not and can not handle the stress and work load that "corporate" employees deal with.

Wow...The us police force of the past month have proven to be nothing more than tax payed uncontrollable thugs.

Are the USA police force so filled with brain dead thugs that they will violently attack and brutalise their own country men/women for simply practising one of their first ammenments rights...freedom of speech.

Whats happening in US is no different to Syria or Libya or UK , people protest and they get killed , beaten , raped , torchered to death. By the police and security that is there to protect citizens from harm and to uphold the law.
