  • I'm proud to be one of Shihan student.Clifford.

  • Karate is unpractical in the modern day word. Saying that, I do believe it will give an advantage in a fight if you had a good amount of experience.

  • i would be honored to take karate

  • Karate has changed my life and made me a better person. I hope someday I can get back to training after I get rid of all my injuries.

  • @unag Very easy to be a critic on You Tube. Why don't you post a video of you doing kata and help your kohai out instead of tongue lashing them without reason. You show a poor example as a sempai, just interested in glorifying yourself and your past. You lack the humility Mori Sensei exemplifies. He's one of the founding members of the JKA, since the time of Nakayama, Nishiyama, Obata. He was even Kanazawa's sempai in college. Yet he cares not about fame, nor does he talk about his past.

  • hey!!

    mori sensei from new york??

man, his shinai and i have a pretty close and painful relationship

  • The few kata segments in this video were OK but not exceptional! I know how very high the technical standard is at Mori Sensei's dojo (I got Shodan there in 1980) and if we had done kata that way in the dojo, his shinai strikes would remind us to exert more effort... more spirit! I certainly hope what I saw is not an indication of the current standard. Oss!

  • These are students from Mori Sensei's branch of the JKA, the SKdI. High technical standards and a thorough understanding of what Karate-Do is supposed to be. It's real karate with real results.

  • this is a real good video...i´m doing karate too...good interviews*THUMBS UP*

  • Nice job on the video and interviews.
