Left Behind - Jasmine & Eric

All I can say about this one is that I am in no way happy with the way it turned out. Guess I ran out of ideas about halfway through. Also, I lacked music, but then I found this gorgeous lullaby from Pan's labyrinth. To be honest, the melody gives me the creeps. But that's the beauty about it, the melancholy and constant sadness. And that's a lullaby!
Frankly, the song saves the video. But no more excuses, on with the storyline, though it should be pretty simple to follow. This way inspired by a movie that inspired me a lot, helped me realise a few things, Atonement, ladies (and gentlemen).

Storyline:
Eric has always fancied Jasmine from afar and when they one day get to talk, Jasmine falls in love with him as well, though it takes a littler persuasion from his side.
But just as their life is starting, Eric is called to war, and the departure is heartwrenching. Unfortunately, the boat is caught in a terrible storm and Eric the entire crew falls overboard. Meanwhile back at the palace, Jasmine is happilly remembering the man she loves, when her father informs her, that the ship went down and there were no survivers.
The poor girl is devestated, and at last we see her falling asleep and dreaming of what could have been if Eric had survived the ship wreck. But she wakes up and realises it was nothing, but a dream.

Another sad video, I know. I can't help it..

Btw, I'm running out of ideas for crossovers.. Okay, that's not entirely true - I have the couples, but I need storylines and music.. Lots!

Too bad about the song having to be changed. Youtube's evil sometimes, eh? Otherwise, it's a very lovely video! They do look good together.
