Free Lick Friday #1

This is a new segment that I'm starting in which I will be teaching you a new lick every Friday!

This week's lick is in D major and is a pretty fast lick. It incorporates some alternate picking and legato. I came up with it when trying to write a solo for a song, but it ended up not fitting with the song. I still think its a killer lick and am proud to share it with you for the first Free Lick Friday.

yeah, nice one. May be you could just talk less 'scale' and 'notes' and more frets numbers, this is for people who can't read music...like me. But it is easy to follow anyway. thanks for posting, will chek it out then.

@machogriz Ahhh okay. Well I only spent $60 on the guitar. It's an Ibanez GSZ. So I won't be spending too much more, as I'm saving for college. But it's something to learn on.

@crbass24 I'm actually using a Tech 21 Liverpool pedal, which is like an amp in itself, and then its running to my recording device (Line6 UX2 Studio) and then into my macbook, where a little delay, reverb, and compression is added
