Will a Mac Pro two Dual-Core 2.66GHz work for Pro Tools HD 9?

Anybody know how to update your protools?? Also the protools i have doesnt have as many plugins as others i see videos of on here on youtube. Can anybody please help me?
-
another greedy fat marketing k u n t, HEAT does not need hardware, pro tools has tons of artificial limitations so that customers get trapped into buying their hardware, you guys are the lowest liars on the planet!

@djcreation24 Any version of pro tools requires hardware protools HD 8 requires hardware that begins in the thousand like that soundboard you just saw. 8 LE requires something like the Mbox2. Pro tools M-powered requires something like the m-audio fast track. And pro tools M-audio 8 requires something like M-audio producer microphone .

Can i use pro tools HD 8 without hardware like i would use for reason 5? I dont need hardware for reason 5 though. I just install and make beats right away. No hardware required. Im looking for pro tools to mix everything i make inside reason. can somebody shine some light on this?

Doesn't matter which one if you can't mix and your master sucks. Digital music is digital music. It's whatever you prefer. But if you can't mix, and your tracks are lame the so will you final product.
Happy Hunting!

Finally the copied all the quality functions of Logic and we finally don't have to switch between three different softwares just to get one song perfectly done. I just want to have Melodyne build in to Tools. Then the prog would actually start to be worth money ;)
