@derpestarzt Have you ever noticed that everyone who supports Ron Paul is a little bit nuts? That alone should be a clue that he isn't the person you should want as your leader.
-
@taosaga If even two people throw or attack one police officer, they HAVE to respond. That's when it devolves. All it takes is one or two people from either side to turn it from a peaceful protest to an amalgamation of police brutality accusations and riot accusations. OWS should just throw out and keep out the people who do violence if they want to preach peace.
-
If not for the free right to protest, I would institute a law requiring anyone who wants to protest on the economy or economic policy to take both micro and macro economics 101.

@Don73818 I don't care who wants this and who wants that, Ron Paul defends individual liberties, that should be the end of it! There can be no racism if you follow the constitution and respect individual liberties & if you don't like drugs don't consume them, if your whole state don't like the idea of drugs being legal then make them illegal, what's the problem? it's bringing the power closer to the source isn't it what the OWS is all about? Seriously, tell me what is wrong with his program?
-
@Don73818 controversial actions like what? What is the OWS want magic bliss?? Ron Paul offer the best anyone can offer, he's a constitutionalist, small government & more power to the states, he even favour legalizing all drugs (if whichever state decides to) what exactly is wrong with what he says? I hope you're not talking about that bullshit of 'racist newsletters' cos then this whole conversation is just pointless, it's almost like some people are actually afraid of real change.
-
... we don't know if we can or not.
Heres the cool part, what OWS has done is brought out awareness & recognition that there are some serious issues 2 work out and that there are a lot of people upset.
As a democratic consensus project, its aims are extremely broad until they can whittle them down. Its painfully slow sometimes, but so isn't congress, and lets face it, congress hasn't always acted with Americans best interests at heart- its usually w/ their wallet's. :)

The OWS Movement is about changing the direction of our regime & our American legacy. The Globalization Proj. was kinda like a bandaid for the corroding Bretton Woods Institutions. Whats exciting, is how many crisis have erupted at once!
That means change is inevitable.lest Humpty falls off a big wall of debt... can he be put back together again?
-
This is exactly why I think the OWS movement is useless, I don't expect everyone in that protest to have in depth knowledge about world economics and the way it works but you can't just affiliate yourself to a certain movement because you "feel" they might be right, that's the kind of thinking (more like lack of thinking) that got us all into this mess.

@TheEIBNetwork I don't have to put words in your mouth, that is what the tea partiers support right, you promote their objectives don't you?
The long term objective is big corporations should control governments and keep them in line b/c government should have no say over how they practice business- whether its poisoning water or contaminating food- business is hands-off without restriction.

@jessiecuno You are not alone man. Just know that you stand with the majority of Americans. The ones who want to work hard and achieve for a living. I commend you.
