I decided to post a couple of carols as a kind of Christmas present to everyone. There's an extended version on my facebook page that explains the whole Fudd House phenomenon if you're interested.

  • Can someone tell me what he says at the 1:16 mark? It almost sound like "the witches mother Mary did nothing "something" scorn"...but maybe its "That which His mother Mary something something?? The lyric Im familiar with in the song is "His Mother Mary kneeling down,Unto the Lord did pray."

  • @MaksIsMud "The which his mother Mary did nothing take in scorn"... I always wondered about that- why she'd be referred to so. Blame it on the complexities of the English language...

  • Please make a Christmas album pleaseee

  • @The045Ara

Well, I made one but I think it's gonna be next year before it's out. Thanks for the encouragement!

  • I like these carols. If you made a Christmas album, I'd buy it.

  • @banjodan99 Thanks, and "see above."....

  • @batfancy Perhaps it's a reference to her acceptance of or even gratitude for what she had under the circumstances? Lots of women might consider a stable full of animals a less-than-ideal place to give birth...

  • Tim Ericksen or Steve Lewis would be the only Christmas album id buy.

  • In Bethlehem, in Israel,

    This blessed Babe was born

    And laid within a manger

    Upon this blessed morn

    The which His Mother Mary

    Did nothing take in scorn

O tidings of comfort and joy,

    Comfort and joy

O tidings of comfort and joy

  • I wish people would play this more slowly. Still great.

  • Brilliant.

  • your music is my favorite

  • young music is terrific

  • One of my favorite carols. I'm learning to play this clawhammer style.

  • I can't wait for your Christmas album, whenever it comes out! You are amazing!

  • @batfancy That is heartbreaking. I guess I'll have to be content listening to these Youtube videos repeatedly! Keep up the good work.
