These in my opinion are the best 3 carry guns in the world. The glock 22 and 27 are proven and the most relied upon guns in the police force. The titanium smith and wesson 38 is a great pocket gun weighing in at less than 12 ounces. I took my concealed carry class with the 27 and the gun is plenty accurate at real world distances of use for personal defense. Most threats would be at a distance of 15-25 feet and any of these guns would be extremely accurate at those distances and beyond. With the .40 cal you are getting a 180 grain bullet (bullet weight) traveling at velocities between a 115 grain 9mm and a 230 grain 45 auto. Way I see it you are getting the best of both worlds with the .40 cal because it falls right between the 9mm and the 45 auto. The 9mm is around 1100 FPS and the 45 auto is around 850 FPS. The .40 cal comes in around 1000 FPS so you see why I say you are getting the best of both worlds when comparing to the 9mm and 45 auto. The 38+p round is much weaker than either of these but still packs a decent punch and still is fairly accurate at 25 feet. In the end it really depends on what you are comfortable with and are accurate with. A hit with a 22 is better than a miss with a .50 cal. Remember if guns are outlawed only outlaws will have them and every lawabiding citizen has the right to protect themselves and their families. Remember to also treat every gun as being loaded no matter what and keep finger out of trigger guard until ready to pull trigger. Lots of people have been killed by "UNLOADED GUNS". Never hand anyone a loaded gun.

  • Where is the micro 380 to carry in places you're not allowed to? Dunno about you, but I carry a little 380 that i wear in places where CCW isn't allowed but where thugs aren't concerned about the laws.... just food for thought, buddy. Thanks for the post- great video, very thorough.

  • @homeostasis4me Since this video I got a little kel-tec 380 and now I carry it almost everywhere because it's just so easy to carry, it really has spoiled me.

  • You can fill those glocks full of hollow points, they'll be fine. Full metal jacket over penetrates and does little tissue damage ask any Marine or soldier who has shot someone with their pistol in Iraq. You should have one primary handgun and a backup. Don't mix and match, train with the same gun(s) repetatively they're not a fashion statement.

  • @sgtbland You are right. I've been running a few hollow points through my G27 and they feed perfectly fine. Another good thing about them is I'm using 165 grain HPs and the lighter bullet weight makes the overall weight of my pistol much more comfortable to carry in my pocket.

  • @davk0613 you didn't "correct" shit, kiddie. get your ass and head wired back together. WTF would you reply a YEAR later?

  • @kenfo0 I must correct you, 90% of all concealed carry altercations happen within 6ft so yes it is who fires the first shot which at that distance would result in a debiliating hit.

  • @ixVENGEFULxi I know lots of guys who leave a "big" gun in their car and carry a pocket 22lr when they want to be more comfortable, like in a movie. phoenix arms hp22 seems to be the most popular. I'm considering this method.

  • @ixVENGEFULxi

i carry a glock 22 every single day, concealed.

  • Damn matthew mcconaughey is doing youtube videos now?

  • there is a really cool round for 9mm .. Ruag - Seca, its FMJ but middle of bullet has a coper cup which will depress in to the bullet under the impact and it will expand the bullet. if you have 9mm check it out :) (if you fear possible troubles with hollow points)

  • I've never had a hollow point jam on me in a Glock. I have a couple Glocks and to be honest I've never ever had any of them jam period. I am a 1911 guy, and yes they tend to jam with hollow points because they have a two piece feed ramp and throat, but the Glock doesn't, hence why they dont jam with hollow points.

  • Nighthawk Talon 3...

  • Hollow points are VERY reliable in the Glocks as is almost anything you keep in there. You are much more likely to have a reliability issue mixing ammo.
