On March 10, the Thomas B. Fordham Institute demanded an inquiry into scandalous efforts by the executive and legislative branches to sabotage the Reading First program.
It is extremely disheartening to know Slavin is one of the people responsible for Reading First cuts. I have looked at the program and was not impressed. It is very expensive for one reason. Could this be a reason schools did not choose Success for All?
If Slavin really cared for children, instead of himself, he would have supported RF and then put his efforts into determining the real issues behind his failed business venture.
