It's because the believers can't be convinced to think outside the box of religious ignorance. They refuse to see their own relgion for wat is really is and as proven to be he last 1400 years. If people demand to believe in unicorns, it's their choice. It becomes dangerous when the same ppl demand others to believe in the same unicorns only a few ppl claims to have seen, but cannot document those sights.

History, science and reason will always be enemies of organized religion.

  • And for "greater understanding". It is commen sense now, that the first verse of John was translated incorrectly. It says "In the beginning was the LOGOS" which in these times meant "the rational rule of the universe".

  • @bohemianwriter1 Unicorns do not bring peace to a person's life. Neither does organized religion. Only the peace of Jesus Christ, which is VERY real, which is of God, can change your life instantly. There are too many testimonies of people's lives changing for the better from accepting Christ, not enough accounts of unicorns sir. Men can change text here and there all they want, but God's Spirit has never left. I do not demand your faith, but I know the peace you seek is in Jesus Christ. :D

  • The whole "god" thing was then what it is now! A con! People are so gullible. If you have faith in God, you prove my point. If you don't, you likely feel the same way.

  • @Zebedex I'm not saying they all copied each other but there are copiers. How do you know they could not have had copies? We don't even know who they are! One or two of them could have been frequenters of the alexandrian library where one of the older scrolls was held. Distance doesn't matter, as Buddhism was known to the greek world at this time. Making up facts does not invalidate unknowns, genius.

  • @skydome29 Yes in different points in time but also in different locations, If you say they all copied each other, that is impossible because the authors who wrote the gospels could not have had copies of the other gospels to copy from because they were miles away apart from each other in different parts of the empire when the gospels were written. So the 'hence copy' statement is historically invalid when you look at the facts.

  • @artistdigital "Anyway, Miracles cannot be proved scientifically, but do u know that 'Time' is not an absolute quantity?" Two very erroneous points-actually your entire post is nonsensical.

  • @Zebedex at different points in time. (hence copy)

You need to read the Bible, specifically the Old Testament, more...

Work on the Sabbath = stoned to death...imagine how unproductive and inconvenient it would be that every fucking place on Earth was closed on Sunday.

How about the "Great Flood" where God, of the Bible - not Quran - killed essentially EVERY living thing...

Neither are benign, both support the murder of those who do not "believe" ... All religions are evil, especially monotheistic ones which dominate todays world.
