Its easy, in first try you start in different RPM that you start the second try
that makes the diference, try start flatout and compare

@TK4STRO If there is any difference, it's within a couple of hundred RPM, but for arguments sake, lets say the difference was 5000 RPM. Are you really dumb enough to think that because of a difference in the revs at the start, all the gears have magically become shorter?

@isoSkroting I'm not saying that it happens in real life....but in game that happens to me too....and i think that is because the different rev...if i start in max rev i get better performance that in lowers rotations

@TK4STRO If that was the case, then it would still be a serious bug. But this wasn't the case. It was the same every time. Long gears when I'd start the race, short proper gears when I restart the same race. Revs at start didn't have anything to do with it. It was just the settings I've made that didn't come into effect before the race was restarted. I have no idea if this bug was corrected in a patch, but it would surprise me if it didn't.
