Zero Gear kart modeling time-lapse video

The last time I sat down to create a kart for Zero Gear, I decided to try recording a time-lapse video of the entire process. This was recorded over the span of about 3 days. Some of the more boring parts of the process such as UV-mapping I have edited out.
the software used in the video are Maya 8.5 and Photoshop CS3.

Its the tank! I kinda wish that the karts had their own perks and weapons. The tank kart is a great example btw

You've got an _awesome_ tank there. Also the music on the video was some extremely high-quality stuff :)
By the way, how are you doing color recognition on the model(s)? The primary and secondary colours seemed to work quite magically easily, did you just not record setting that stuff up or does your engine directly support such stuff, and how is it made, if so?

Awesome work. Can i ask what this process is at 8:09, it looks like you are painting on smoothing groups or something.
