No, there's no way to get to Draygon before Phantoon in this hack. About the only major sequence break available, is getting the Space Jump early like I did. Other than that, the path I took here is the only one available.

MORE DEADLY SPIKES!!! EVIL! I think Saturn is obsessed with spikes cause thats the only hazard he could put in the game.

I'm inclined to agree with you. This is just a simple SMILE edit to the game, where the only thing that makes it hard are the beefed up enemies changed item locations. While Super Metroid Redesign goes a step further, and does more than just simple item location and enemy editing. However all in all, this is a pretty good hack, if your looking for a challenge, because believe me, this game DOESN'T dissapoint in that respect!

Wait, wait, wait...Wait...So, if you're spending all this time on everything about this game, surely that means that just about everyone else is going to, and that means that you'll hit that magic 3 hour mark while you're probably still in Brinstar. So, I wonder if Saturn changed the amount of time it takes to get the best ending of the game. If not, he is not only an asshole, but an asshole with unrealistic expectations!

lol He probably didn't change the times, and while I am indeed spending about 3 hours just in the first part of Brinstar, it's with savestates, so it won't equal that much on the game ticker. However, even with the savestates, there's no way in hell I'm getting the best ending..XD

@BeholdMyStrength there's a trick to make phantoom easy , just use super missiles on him, and when he unleashes the wave of fire, spin jump in the oppisate direction of the way its going and it won't hurt! :D just to let you and others know

what actually are the ghost things in the wrecked ship , metroid doesn't ususally toy with the "supernatural" , it's usually all scientific

i can already say this much about watching you play. i think saturn made this game so fucking hard just so he can improve anyones skill level when they play this game.
