Freedoom level 1

I've tried to find all the secrets and kill all of the ugly things. If I couldn't figure something, then I have marked it. Please leave any comments regarding the locations of things as I have set this up to be a discussion as much as a playthrough/walkthrough.

i'm impressed with the effort they put into this independent game. but compared to the real game though this sucks. the enemy sprites just don't look right, and so do the weapons. i think they should have just kept the original doom sprites in there instead and i think it would have been better. but overall i'm pretty impressed.

I agree that the graphics may not be as good, but they are still better than anything I could hope to come up with. I would say that they aren't allowed to use the original sprites as only the engine has been released to the open community and the sprites are still under copywrite. There are still some great levels here, 11 is one of my favourites. The problem is that it is made by many people in their free time, so completion seems a little way off!
