The first video I made from this footage focused only on the behaviour of two "Pro-Life" men. This video shows how I responded to "Mr I Hope The Baby Kills You".

Every year church groups, religious clubs and Catholic school students gather to protest womens' reproductive freedom.

In 2009, I was able to join a peaceful, Pro-Choice counter-protest. We were allowed to stand on the sidewalk while the "March for Life" went by.

A row of bike Police in flourescent lime jackets stood between we 36 - 45 Pro-Choicers and 8,000+ 'Pro-Life' marchers.

This video highlights one of the many reasons why I believe so much in reproductive freedom and justice.

  • I'm not debating you, joeb0. Any comments I make are more for the other people who might be reading.

Women have a massive responsibility. We're the only ones who can gestate new life. Every month feel our bodies' cycle. Our relationship with blood is really different that men's. We know we can bring new life into the world. That's a gift as well as a burden. I think with such great responsibility we deserve to have agency over our own bodies and lives.

  • I want women to achieve economic parity with men. We need gender to mean a lot less than we make it out to be. Poverty must be eradicated. As oppression of all forms diminishes - so too will abortion rates. I promise.

  • What hypocrite! Just like George Carlin said, "Men pro-lifers are so obsessed with the unborn, they would do anything for the unborn, but once you're born, you're on your own!"

  • pro life protesters can be real ass holes and hypocrites... in more than one case

  • @HaloSpartanG13 the prolife movement isn't aiming for complete eradication of abortion seeing as that is a bit of an impossible task. The educated pro-life community is trying to work towards a common ground seeing as that abortion at any given stage is made legal. A fully formed baby with a beating heart, brain and neural functions can be aborted at any stage of the pregnancy which I don't believe is right.

  • This silly man and his silly and unthoughtful comment are a perfect example of the closed mindlessness of such people with such anal beliefs. silly silly silly man.

  • @HaloSpartanG13 Thank you. I agree 100%.

  • Here's the simple way to end this debate:

If you don't like abortion, then DON'T GET ONE! Go spend your time helping the kids that need food, or adopt someone instead of standing back and bitching about something that's none of your business.

  • @sangetencre

Murder has nothing to do with emotions, if morals were based on emotions, then they would change on a whim. There are universal moral LAWS, and murdering your own children is a crime against humanity.

  • @joeb0

You treat women like they're idiots or emotional children. Women know what fetuses are. Women know what abortion entails. Women are not stupid and they don't need your patronizing attitude.

  • Of course the comments of this man are shocking. To call oneself pro-life and then wish death upon someone is stupid; evidently he's gone off the rails in his reasoning process. I despise the unsympathetic bullying behavior of some pro-life activists.

But I remain true to the cause of pro-life. When an infant's life has started (and please don't kid yourself that the child in the womb is not alive), it is contrary to all human causes to abort (to execute) the unborn, vulnerable child.

  • Dear Jennfarrssuperstar,

Abortion is not about gender equality - or as you suggest, 'economic parity with men'. I think that issue is rather more cloudy than you suggest here, after all, you pointed out that women have extra responsibility being the only sex who can bear children. Some serious equality issues there; since there is no opportunity for men to bear a child, the only role for a male in pregnancy can be to support the mother and the child in every way he is able.
