actually in CrossFit context functional means for LIFE. You power lifters crack me up..you absolutely hate CrossFit because you refuse to try it and it makes you feel not so important anymore because the average person is doing what you thought you were special doing..I can name a few that have, Chad Vaughn, 2-time Olympian lifter (I work out at his CrossFit box) and Coach Mike Burgener, who works for CrossFit, I trust both of their opinions FAR MORE than random power lifter guy on the internet

and in fact man. Just as your picture shows, you are an mma fan. We fighters do more Crossfit that Power lifting. Just as boxing is just a small part in mma. Powerlifting is also just a small part of crossfit. Crosfit practitioners not only strive to be stronger. We strive to put the body's fitness level to another thing higher. I can say that the Crossfit telling people that its " Forging Elite fitness." I dont doubt it.

WOD changes everyday, it's not pull ups everyday. Go to a local gym and see if they'd give you a free class or something like that. It's better to go and try.

CROSSFIT, is the universal workout, high intensity, high input, high interval training that uses all muscles groups, finding your weakness, and making it your strength, crossfit is dedication to waking up every morning, and feeling completely fucking sore, and doing it again, and having such a undeniably difference in only months,, i GUARANTEE no matter who starts crossfit, they will have HUGE change within just months. doesn't matter wether your a pro, or a new guy, you are exhausted daily.
