Interestingly if you search for " IAMA - Penn and Teller Answer reddit.com's Top 10 Questions " and watch the little bit at 11:55 they talk about this show. thought you might find it interesting.

@slickstrings What? That's not even a coherent reason for someone to argue. What you said is nonsensical. The reason I'm arguing is because I'm having my fun with chumps on Youtube and improving certain aspects of my mind in doing so. But you're still wrong. It is a placebo.
-
@Dawgmeatt the only reason your arguing against me is because you dont actually know what your talking about and are refferring to a tv show shot for entertainment for evidence other then experience or knowledge.
-
@slickstrings "fuck i dont know her website. i got her number off a doctor."
Yeah, that's what I thought.
The only reason you're discrediting the TV show is because it's not in favour of your view on the placebo called hypnosis.
-
@Dawgmeatt fuck i dont know her website. i got her number off a doctor. whatever. i dont care. im cured, and your a guy following a tv show.
-
@slickstrings Buddy, sorry to say, but nothing in this universe comes without bias so of course Penn and Teller are biased, they're biased towards idiots and the shit they believe in. Again you're still assuming a lot. And mind linking me to this doctor's website? I'd love to see what kind of shit he does among other things.

@Dawgmeatt thats funny, cos my hypnotherapist WAS a psychiatrist. You saw a tv show. Which unfortunately is geared to a bias. A psychiatrist will tell you why people on stage will act a part out of expectation, they will also be able to tell you how deep your mental programming goes. Thats what can be exploited in hypnosis. Ultimately, i dont really care if you think you have it sorted. Just dont try and tell me that im wrong when ive been there and you havnt. thats pointless and empty.
-
@slickstrings No, I'm not accepting of false ideas. You have me all wrong. I LOVE to be proven wrong, it's a major part in learning. And I LOVE learning new things. But when you keep arguing that you know better than psychiatrists, and trained professionals, because you experienced it and so did your friends, I'm not going to even consider it.
-
@Dawgmeatt uh, i did accept a new idea after it worked. Thats what im saying. I thought it was bogus until i did it. Its very much up to the individuals ability to concentrate. Its you who's not accepting of a new idea.
When that woman was trying to explain how her talking about penises on a tape could actually affect the growth of living cell tissue, I could literally see shit spewing out of her mouth.
