Matt Cashore shoots the beauty of Inishark, an abandoned island off the coast of Ireland where University of Notre Dame anthropology Professor Ian Kuijt and his team of students and locals have been digging for six years. The island was last inhabited in 1960 when the remaining 25 inhabitants left their homes and history on the island. Today the Cultural Landscapes of the Irish Coast (CLIC) project strives to provide a voice to the islanders long gone and to a disappearing culture that may soon be forgotten.
