something like this was used in world war 2, i think it was called "pencil L delay fuse"

with a 6 millimeter hole in the middle to serve as a washer against what the solder holds the striker.
Normal coil spring
Spring stocks thickness 1mm, 7 coils per inch
diameter 7/9mm (inside/outside)
lead solder about 0,75milimiters in diameter
Ofcourse you need to adapt the striker to whatever you want to use it for. All the dimension can and should be adapted to any dimension you want, affected by the materials you have on hand.
I'll post a video with more pictures on this evening

@captainzim This is simply the mechanism for the time delay. I fabricated it like so
striker:
6mm roundbar about 70mm long
8mm roundbar 10 millimeters long
I tapped the 8mm roundbar for the 6mm to form a shoulder to the 6mm bar. You could do this easier if you like to. I drilled a 4mm hole for the lead solder to go to, placed about 30 millimeters from the point of the striker. Another one to the other end for the key ring(optional)
Piece of 20mm bar, 4 millimeters long...
**to be continued**
i cant believe it. i've been on line and seen all types of crazy shit.

@MikeMikeJr83 believe it or not. little google magic "lead break fuse" and the first result I found was some rascist whitehonour site. but the info is good though. scroll 'bout 1/5th of the page and there you have it with instructions of assembly

@MrPyrotech96 it's widely available lead solder that's being sold in just about any electronics store and some hardware stores. there's also other places but... just keep your eyes open, it shouldn't be too hard

I can't help but think that this would be TERRIBLY unnerving if the device didn't go off and you had to approach it again.

@sobeita That's exactly what it is. But I guess that if one used this fuse on a bomb, he would never consider approaching it again. For instance IRA used this fuse on their terrorist attacks, there shouldn't be any possibility for the need to disarm or call of the detonation. If there might be one, another fuse should be used
