What is it about faith that keeps demanding greater testing? Those closest to the heart of Jesus will be tested with a great intensity. Faith must go beyond believing for the provision of God, faith must reach the very heart of God and His purposes. The heart of this message tells us our present battles are not about testing or chastening, it is what God is doing in our hearts to prepare us for service in eternity! We will rule and reign with Christ and in the ages to come we will show forth His glory. God has a larger purpose than just this world.

so the bible stating that joseph has multiple fathers is taking verses out of context....I wish you would actually try to refute these contradictions, but you want to cry about abuses of context, taking slaves and murdering people tends to be bad in any context.

  • @plator99 read the Bible? How can you accuse the Bible of contradiction when you take verses out of context that make the verse alone sound bad but in context do not? How do you answer that?

  • @plator99 About Romans 15:33, this too was taken out of context. God is more than one thing, he is jealous for us, Deuturonomy 4:24, God is gracious, God is compassionate, God is a God of Justice (Isaiah 30:18), etc etc.

About Matt. 1:16 & Luke 3:23, Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, she got pregnant because of it. Joseph was his earthly father and Mary His earthly mother, However God is everyone's Father because he created us. How can you make such naive accusations if you claim to have

  • @plator99 I've met many people who aren't Christian and say they've read the Bible and found it contradicting or stupid etc. I'm just telling your right now, your not reading right. If you read something with all intention of proving it wrong and don't care to reason with any of it, your going to say it is wrong no matter what brother.

About Exodus 15:3, your taking it out of context. All You did was pick a verse that, out of context, sounds like it would contradict other verses.

  • @hongkongfiretruck

I have read it, horrifyingly inaccurate

  • @plator99 It's all in the Bible bro, just read it

take for example of the roman census supposed to occur during the birth of jesus, aside from the biblical account, there are no corroborating accounts of this census having occurred at all, and the gospel of matthew states that jesus was born during the life of herod the great who died 4 bce, let alone all the differing accounts of the last words of jesus within the bible, contradictions abound in those pages.

  • @plator99 How so?

  • @hongkongfiretruck

Alas, to the contrary, it does not, it cannot even keep from contradicting itself let alone being historically accurate.

  • @ fipete,

     The Bible.

This book has lots and lots of it.

    Read it :)
