http://www.handmasterplus.com. Dr. Terry Zachary has worked with hand, wrist & elbow and grip strengthening for athletes, musicians and workers for over 20 years - and developed Handmaster Plus over 10 years ago. Dr. Zachary, as a former professional golfer, has seen first hand the injuries that occur as a result of poor hand exercisers and use of grip only grip strengtheners. Dr. Zachary has also performed 100's of sEMG tests to illustrate the pattern of muscle fire between the finger exetnsor muscles and the finger flexors. The extensors are super-active, but rarely trained.
When people use grip only hand strengtheners, the finger flexor muscles become imblanced with the finger extensor muscles causing imbalance at the fingers, thumb, hand, wrist, carpal tunnel, forearm and elbow. Hand muscle imbalance leads in turn to performance problems and conditions such as trigger finger, palmar fascitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, DeQuervain's tenosynovitis, arthritis, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow to name a few. Repetive gripping causes these RSI that are at the core of theses conditions.
Proper hand exercise using Handmaster Plus hand exerciser makes it easy, convenient and cost effective to balance the hands, wrist, carpal tunnel, forearm & elbow resulting in maximum performance via strength, speed, stability and endurance.
Therapists, trainers, OT's, chiropractors, and fitness instructors can easily bring Handmaster Plus in their practise or business and ensure compliance from patients and customers. Handmaster Plus can be use for strength training, performance, wellness, prevention and rehabilitation.
Say no to traditional 'grip-only' exercisers. The same reptitive grip injuries are still occuring over and over. They are preventatble through proper exercise education.
Learn about the natural anatomy of the hands, wrists, carpal tunnel & elbow and use a proper grip strengthener that addresses balance and blood flow.

Thanks for the comment. I started in practise in 1991 and have seen poor hand, wrist & elbow strengthening programs that haven't changed. People still repetitive grip. Change takes time. We will continue educating people about proper training and stabilization of this area until finger & wrist muscle balance become commonplace - especially for those involved in repetitive grip jobs and hobbies. Please pass the word.
Best,
