  • I don't like how Jack is hidden and they don't even introduce him.

  • Jack SHOULD have been introduced! I'm deaf and use interpreters all the time at work... I ALWAYS introduce my terp - he or she (depending on who I book) is a person and doing their job... to totally ignore them is rude beyond belief. I value the work my terps do!

  • He may have been introduced but it was cut out of the clip.

  • @203wee what a jerk you are to say something like that

  • @BooDeaf I just recently preformed in the Disney World 2011 candlelight processional. Two of the shows I preformed in Marlee was the guest narrator and she introduced, thanked, and mentioned her terp. I just thought I would let you know because I thought this piece of information might make you happy to know. :)

  • @BooDeaf

Marlee claimed in another interview that she love's having an interpreter, she seems like a wonderful person but i agree they should of introduced him and gave him a little bit of credit.

  • MILF!!!

  • @203wee...... I know Jack's there because that's his job... to voice over what Marlee says. Same as he is signing to Marlee what Ellen and the other dancer are saying..... I know Jack's talking because he's voicing over what Marlee is signing! I don't need to "hear" him to know he's there; and if it's not "Jack", it's another interpreter, who is there voicing over her signs and signing the hearing peoples' voices! That's how I know.

  • @BooDeaf How did you know Jack was there if you couldn't hear him talk?

  • who would ever think she was deaf??? she moves so wowly!!!

  • @BenASL

you're completely right. Once you know a Deaf person well and interpret for them often, you learn what words they prefer and how their mannerisms play into what they are saying. If interpreters did not do this they actually would be giving a very flawed and impersonal voice interpretation.

  • @BenASL no i'm not fluent. In the learning process.
