First Sign Of Frost - The Saviour Atlantic (2009) ******* LYRICS *******

The tables turn
it's time to make a stand
I'll play the saviour
a role I must take on

If sleeping is escapism
is reality a dream?
there's a serious glitch in the system it seems
forgive my honesty
I'll tell it like it is
now hear me out
just imagine if we had no fears or doubts

I hope you take what I say onboard
when your ship sinks make sure you swim for your life
I'll meet you when you reach the shore
and I take my hat off to you
I take my hat off to you once more

If sleeping is escapism
is reality a dream?
there's a serious glitch in the system it seems
forgive my honesty
I'll tell it like it is
now hear me out
just imagine if we had no fears or doubts

Take a step back
look at yourself
would you chose to throw this life away

I say it's gone to far and now things are gonna change
you say you've lost sight of life which you wish you could regain

  • Stop arguing over genres you fuckwits.

  • I like how the radical, revolutionary implications of these lyrics go entirely unnoticed.

  • @Triangulove no. i just dont like the vocal style. thats all. i refer u to my previous posts

  • I play borderlands with one of their group members on Xbox 360.. lol I think its the lead singer.

  • @darkdaxterVersionZ

    Because they aren't generic screamo?

  • Just imagine if we had no fears or doubts.

  • nice love this song!!

  • instrumentality is great. lyrics are good. The vocals just don't suit my tastes though.

  • @redriverhautbois or at least most people do. In my opinion there are good and bad bands in every genre, or at least those that you like more and like less. And for every band you can find at least one good song (or at least one you deem decent). But then most people don't even put bands in the correct genre. As you say, they lock their minds within the specifics of one and cry out that everything is crap. But I'd like to think there are mature listeners out there too...

  • @GojiraScorn means a lot, especially as I wrote all the lyrics :)

  • The problem with naming genres is that some names become the whipping boy for everything you dont like, and of course you group all the bands you like into one genre regardless.

  • Amazing what else is there to say... Lawl at the kids naming genres!
