This is the Dr Sharpe who said of patients with the serious neurological illness myalgic encephalomyelitis 'they are the least deserving sick of society'. I expect Bod was thrown in the hydrotherapy pool & left lying in his own urine because he had an 'aberrant illness belief'.
Cruelty is at the heart of the treatment of M.E. patients in the UK. All that matters is saving the DWP & large health insurance companies money - helping us to actually recover is receiving no government funding at all.
