Little Steven Van Zandt is probably just as much known for his role as Sopranos Consiglieri Silvio Dante as much as a guitar player for Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band. Although Van Zandt isn't involved in The Boss's current band, which is more of a tribute to Pete Seeger, he wishes his boss well with the tour and shows. We caught up with Little Steven at the premiere of the HBO show Entourage earlier in the week, and although he's not involved with the project, he encourages fans to go see the show. "We won't probably get back together until next year, but I've seen this show of his, and you've really got to see it. Everybody really needs to see this show. I know it sounds like it's kind of a folky...

  • @BabylonShitstem Springsteen has always had concern for the poor. Have you ever listened to ANY of his music?? Ghost of Tom Joad? Jungleland? American Skin? Born in the USA? Where have you been?

  • Does Bruce always read the words of his song from a piece of paper or is he just getting old?

  • @znkp ---little steven is "born again savage and i dont have time for the games" tongues of angels

  • @ritter89: Not that is matters, but Boss is Roman Catholic.

  • When did Bruce become a cowboy? The guy's a Jew from Jersey

  • Politically active does that mean resuscitate a stale career by faking concern for the poor and live in a mansion like bono the fraudster??

  • i truly marvel at how ridiculous some people are ,complaining about a musician's weight or the way they dress or that they talk about real life in their art . Life does include social issues and politics.

It makes it that much more amusing when they completely screw up the facts , as in ,"Thank God Steven hasn't gone down that path."(talking about society/politics).

I want to say ,"Get a life !" , but I'm sitting here complaining back to you, so... , maybe I need to get a life.

  • Me too.

  • i'd still rather see the E Street Band over anybody else

  • Steve Van Zandt was one of the most politically active musicians in the '80s. He has been a long time Democrat and voice of the disenfranchised. He's been down that path and is still on it.
