Carvin' The Bird - SMC

Here is the second song, Carvin' The Bird, from Wirechoir's maiden voyage concert. The band is able to open up on this blues which features solos by (presented in order) Terry Carter, Jimmy Cheesman, Ken Rosser, and Daniel Gilbert. This arrangement is based off of Charlie Parker's solo from Carvin' The Bird. This concert was recorded on October 4th, 2009 at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica to a crowd of 500 people. The entire line up of the band is David Oakes, Ken Rosser, Daniel Gilbert, Jimmy Cheesman, Eric Jensen, John Atkinson on drum, Andy Zacharias on bass, and leader Terry Carter. The audio was recorded with 2 overhead stage mic's and video was shot with 3 DV cameras. Enjoy.
