The Tourist - "In Retrospect" (Launchpad Mix)

Here's a video of me sequencing a recent instrumental track I've been working on in Ableton Live using my Launchpad and Axiom 49. Nothing overly fancy going on here, just triggering clips and a bit of automation. Video itself is a bit boring, but I hope you enjoy the track nonetheless :)

For the technically minded: I recorded all the guitar samples/riffs using my Ibanez SZ320 & Guitar Rig 4.0 through my E-MU 0202. The weird vocal sample is my voice, with some heavy FX, recorded with a Shure PG58. Drum loops are sampled. Bass towards the end is a Massive patch.

It's a bit rough in places, but I hope you enjoy it. Feedback welcomed.

this is really sweet did u compose and record in ableton or did u use another daw? im a logic pro user and i love its interface for midi composition but i would love to dj live with ableton i just need to figure out a way to incorporate my tracks into it i guess.
