@bliglum Nintendo didn't accomplish anything with rumble packs. Sega introduced a lot more innovation over the years, including 3D gaming, backwards compatibility, motion control, cd based games, memory cards, the first online network. Playstation dominated the market and took all the 3rd party support. That's what killed Sega. Nintendo barely got by with their handful of first party games.

@Bloodthr0e LOL!! Nintendo didn't do shit, but sit there and what?? More like sit there and introduce innovation after innovation! Ideas like analog control, fully realized and interactive 3d worlds and even little things like rumble packs.... Sega fell out because all of their good games were arcade ports, which lack the depth necessary for proper home console games.

The 3DO was the one with a high price. Yeah that's what I mean, no one will make a good game for it because It's way to hard.

@ItalianRobot Yeah, but the Jaguar was like $700 was it not? Or I'm thinking of something else, that or it didn't do well because of the fact that it was hard to program. Either way, the Jaguar could've done very well.

Sony was the real reason Sega fell out of the console wars. Nintendo didn't do shit, but sit there and barely survive off of their repetitive mario and zelda games.

I liked the Saturn. My N64 and PS got way more playtime, but the Saturn definitely had its gems.
