@BlockedParty its not about forcing the brits out thru force. the ira recognise they cant do that. they wish to inflict enough damage that britain feels it needs to better the deal it offers to republicans so that they can ensure a united ireland in the future. the goof friday agreement has not brought a united ireland and so the ira must take up arms again untill a new deal is agreed.

The armed struggle is over, if the Provisional IRA couldnt do it what makes the CIRA and RIRA think they can. The war must continue through polictics.

They both have 1 goal. A untied Ireland. Anyone who persues that goal is no "joke". The PIRA, and CIRA and all the other groups need to band together for this goal.
