Clearview flight sim. Cheap and good. You can fly a heli in trial mode. Spent a LOT of time on it first.

The axe is a handful. I just got mine about a week ago. I have been flying helis for about 3 years now. The axe is not a beginner heli. Try the 2 blade helis. The will teach u well. If ur gonna stick with axe. Try adding small inputs. Its 3D heli. Its made to move fast. Work on keeping the tail pointing at u to. Takes time but it comes after awhile. Put the training gear on it to. U want lose ur rotor head like u just did. hehe and good luck

adjust trim on the tail rotor
tail rotor isnt spinning fast enough to counter the torque from the main rotor

As it says in the manual that came with the Axe "Rushing the learning process can be costly" I would confirm,to you, that it is true but it appears that you already know ;)

Ive found that grass kills helicopters even with the slightest tap with the blades.
