Anna and I took a trip (or "holiday" lol) to Germany in June 2009. We stopped in Munich, Triberg, Dresden, Fussen, Berlin, Dachu and Salzburg (Austria). It was an amazing experience that had all of it's up and downs. But it was truly a unique and once-in-a-lifetime trip. I cannot wait for when I can return to Germany! Until then, I hope everyone enjoys my "music video" of random clips from our trip. Enjoy!
1st clip - Anna and I attending the Opera in Dresden. (duh! lol)
2nd clip - On our Delta flight, over Nova Scotia. Enjoying the endless wine that comes with First Class!
3rd clip - Driving in our rental car (a Kia) to Triberg and the Black Forest.
4th clip - Munich (near the Marienplatz) at night, listening to the violins play as we walk.
5th clip - On our way to Berchtesgaden, stopping at McCafe and enjoying the view!
6th clip - Resting after our "hike" up the Ulm Catherderal. What an amazing view though!
7th clip - On the bus up to Hitler's Eagle Nest. Scary!!
8th clip - Anna at Ronald's Royal Gym (McDoanlds), finishing "the race". haha!
9th clip - The top of Hitler's Eagle Nest. (Salzburg, Austria is somewhere out there!)
10th clip - In Munich's Residenz (former royal palace of the Bavarian monarchs), playing out our princess fantasies and singing the Anastia movie song.
11th clip - Dresden in the middle of the day. Look at all those buildings!
12th clip - The Fürstenzug (Procession of the dukes) at night.
13th clip - First morning in Dresden, at one of the only decent cafes we could find. (We were already missing Munich's cafes at this point!)
14th clip - ??? (I've got to go in our video files and find out if this is in Salzburg or Munich!)
15th clip - A view of Dresden on the "other side". Beautiful place!
16th clip - Silly me inside the Zwinger Nymphenbad.
17th clip - Eating at one of many outdoor vendors in Dresden while listening to a live band. We met two very sweet english-speaking Bavarian girls on "holiday". Sat and chatted for a while!
18th - A great shot of the Zwinger Nymphenbad!
19th - Tunnel time! There were so many cool tunnels in Germany. But the best thing was the SPEEDING. I honestly felt safer going 120 mph in Germany than going 60 mph in the US. (Especially Atlanta, hehe)
