Members of the Ontario Nurses' Association demonstrate at the St. Catharines General Hospital, one of the sites of the Niagara Health System. The ONA is protesting a shortage of nurses, excessive overtime and unacceptable standards for safe patient care.

  • Too bad the Niagara Health System has one of the highest death rates in the country. The gov't should stop brushing the Niagara region under the rug, and provide more funding so they can provide proper care.

  • Odd how they complain about Nursing shortage and yet on the other hand fight against policies that would see Nursing numbers increase like immigration reform.

  • I was there and can remember it like it was yesterday. More importantly this rally actually made a difference.
