  • @Kommando786 Dude, I saw Cream in 1968 at the farewell performance at the Philly Spectrum. they played this song and got a massive standing ovation. So when I see an ignorant, uninformed, ridiculous comment, I tend to react. Maybe too harshly for you, but when you've seen the original musicians who cut the track do the song, it makes a difference. And I'm sorry, given the calibre of these performers, this version is average at best. Bruce, Baker and Clapton were legendary, they were awesome.

  • ladies and gentlemen, Herman Cain on the keys!

  • @dougalmac54 Don't have to be rude. Couldn't you have just said "I disagree with your opinion" ? Im sorry if I've hit a nerve, anyway, that was 7 months ago. I do happen to disagree with my old self now as I have continued to explore Cream's full repetoire, and have found some really good stuff.

  • @albertobsn Uh, I hate to burst your bubble vis-a-vis "that's all we need," but the original recording included keyboards played by producer Felix Pappalardi and rhythm guitar played by L'Angelo Misterioso (aka George Harrison). I don't know about you, but I notice when they are not there.

  • @dougalmac54 It doesn't suck, but like you, I prefer the original if only for the fact that metronomes though they may be, Steve Gadd and Nathan East were off to the races with the tempo. I assume that's the way Eric wants to perform it these days, but I'd prefer that they take their feet off the gas pedal.

  • @Kommando786 Are you outta your fucking mind? This shit is better than Cream? Your head is planted permanently up your ass, dude. All these players are some of the best in the world, but the groove they lay down is different, not at all better than, the original. Give me Baker and Bruce any day. Jesus, you just have to wait a few seconds, and it's a guarantee that somebody on youtube will say something completely stupid about music.

  • Grande Eric.

  • @RonyMexico

You have a warped sense of who the good guys are, dontcha?

Felony insurance fraud for burning down his own house, molestation of a minor (and a MEXICAN boy, by the way) committing a crime while high on cocaine. Great guy.

  • Great one

    Nathan's subtle bass-acrobatics...David's analogue breath-controlled sound...

  • wow the bass on this is pretty freakin amazing, great tone, i wish he'd let loose a bit more, but i'll take what i can get o___O
