  • I have a rip in a pink top I discovered yesterday its in the shoulder area. ty for teaching this. I been making sloppy mends for years lol!

  • This totally helps me! Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Thank you! Just used your blind stitch method and it works like a dream :D

  • oh this tutorial is really helpful, ive been searching 'sew a blind stitch' the whole morning and finally urs helped me a lot. Ive just finished my beautiful pillow thanks to your tutorial and it's just awesome. Thank you!!!

  • Thank you! With the info you presented, I was able to fix my work pants.

  • but how do you fix it if the rip goes to the end of the trouser leg

  • @scumbuddy That happened to me, now I've got it down.

  • This is great, but my tear is on the front of a jacket, so how do I go about finishing the stitch if I can't access the back side of the fabric?

  • Finally I have learned to properly finish a stitch, and just in time 'cause this little project needs to hold tight!

  • yes! finaly I know how to close the stitch, thank you! I used to always finish it by actually tying it in a knot but the knot would always pull through the fabric and the stitch would come undone.
