Former Nova Scotia Member Of The Legislative Assembly Dave Wilson pleads guilty to spending scandal charges, to be sentenced Jan. 25.
The police probe began after provincial auditor general Jacques Lapointe uncovered several cases of what he described as excessive and inappropriate spending of constituency funds.
Wilson, who represented the Cape Breton district of Glace Bay, resigned from politics without explanation in March 2010, saying only he could no longer fulfil his duties.
Three other former members of the legislature and one current member are also charged in the spending scandal.
MLAs have done this shit in the past and had their sentencing handed to them...Yet some MLAs still dont get it.
I hope January 25 they finally get the sentencing right.
