yea i grew up in Oakland in the Fruitvale district and i used too hang out in the Mission district in the late 80s and most of the 90s it used to be mostly brown back then . it was hella live and fun up there back then . now all these lame ass hipsters that gentrified the Mission have fucked it up and white washed it and have killed some of it's culture . latinos in the Mission better wake the fuck up and fight for there barrio instead of each other .
