I don't know if I answered your question, but if not. I am using a propane tourch head to heat the underside of the floss head.

I rolled up a plan piece of paper into a cone; I stapled it together at the bottom of the cone.
In this video the cotton candy is coming from the brass screen. But we made a new floss cone (where the sugar is melted into cotton candy, which looks like a flying saucer
