@Carthsgtr To each his own! Well I do agree about the 80's. They all did it, for fame or money, but they forgot about their craft. I’m a huge Clapton fan, but when he teamed up with Phil Collins in the 80's he took on the sound of Genesis. Very well done but it was not Clapton’s style. If the blues have influenced them, then they should nurture that craft. But they all seem to go commercial sooner or later. Cheers!

@Carthsgtr Well personally I was not an 80's fan, but the blues, well thats where Gary was a star. 80's or not, when he played the blues he felt it.

In all honesty, I can acknowledge the fact that the man was a brilliant guitarist, but I really hate his voice and the horrible "80s" sound of the layering and synth. It really kills the feel of a song like this.

Some day, this guy will be recognised as a true master of taste/tone/feel, just love all his albums, from early rock to present day! , playing a Strat/Charvel or Les Paul, celtic rock or soulful blues, just Brilliant!!.

I Luv this Duster Bennett masterpiece!
Gary has such sweet bends & vibrato...It just doesn't get any better than this for me!
The only equal is Peter Green's raw version.
