@SuperOlds88 Do you judge his mentality off of his lifting technique? If so, I would say that's just biased because most Europeans exhibit equally poor technique.
It is true that many of the U.S. discus throwers have the strength to throw farther, but for some reason they don't prioritize technique as much as they need to. Still, he's thrown over 68m. That's among the best in the world.
