Excerpts from early 16mm short film effort, The Long Walk Home. A bit melodramatic.

This was filmed in 1993 right after the first bombing of the World Trade Center towers which can be seen in the final shot.

True trivia about this film: The DP of this short film happened to be in the WTC train station waiting for a train to come down to the Jersey Shore for a production meeting for this film when the 1993 bombing occurred. He was trapped in the rubble, but ultimately was okay.

Also, unbeknownst to us at the time, our production van was rented out of Ryder Rentals in Jersey City, apparently the same place where the terrorists rented the truck for the 1993 bombing. The DP ended up getting in an accident with this van and it was uninsured. Needless to say, this film seemed cursed from the beginning.

  • Either nothing is cursed or everything is cursed.

  • Great shots of the shore, and love the Seaside heights t-shirt, haha.
