Grilo y Moraíto

This amazing dancer, Joaquín Grilo, struck the audience like an avalanche at the final gala night of the 2008 Flamenco Biennial. With the opening performance of the III Flamenco Biennial, Sin Muros (21 January 2011, Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Rotterdam), his spectacular intensity is again to be expected. In Terremoto de Jerez (27 January 2011, Melkweg Rabozaal, Amsterdam), Grilo is part of a star cast of dancers, singers and guitarists from Jerez de la Frontera. With Miguel Poveda as special guest, they will play a grand musical performance in honour of Fernando Terremoto. On 26 January 2011, he is joined by Diego del Morao and Jesús Mendez. Maestría de Jerez is a night of Jerez-style flamenco (RASA, Utrecht).

After an impressive start to his dance career, Joaquín Grilo (Jerez de la Frontera, 1968) started his own compañía in 1998, earning international success and a number of awards. Grilo has shared the stage with the greatest stars, such as Lola Flores, Antonio Canales, Vicente Amigo and Paco de Lucía.

E um grilo mesmo, se confunde entre ser bailaor e um bicho , está no habitat errado. Quando consegue uma beleza no baile, peca por achar -se um porco ou uma barata, e ai a beleza do baile vai misturar com bichos ....
