  • your right i mean look at paul williams vs carlos quintana in their first bout Paul is 6 foot one and huge reach advantage over quintana who is only 5'9 and quintana outboxed him and won

  • you get people in life who are either one of these tough and nasty or weak and nice, those capable of both are the worthy people who deserve respect, that is why i like oscar de la hoya so much becuase hes a real nice guy but such a great fighter hes the he'll be more of a champion then mayweather can ever be

  • @vladiator100 agreed! The Oscar who stepped through the ropes against Pacquiao was a shell of his former self... he should have never boiled down to 147. Oscar is one of the greatest! A prime Oscar would have dismantled Manny. There is a freddy roach interview on here which confirms this.

  • bro u forgot his fight with quartet, whitiker, camacho, trinidad ect he had alot of good ass fights lol

  • Hispanics are the Best at Boxing. Blacks are the best at Basketball. Whites are the best at Hockey. Asians are the best at Math! I love America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • de la hoya is comming back to fight chavez jr if jr beats canelo thats what he said

  • ok,if you wanna call him whatever you want, one of the greatest, great boxer or a Hero, thats just personal opinion,i still think and know that most of his fights were hand picked by Grampa Bob Arum,ODLH was under his thumb for most of his career, just in the few last ones when he was in the way out thats when he started to promote his own fights, thers no need for name calling,be open minded if you posting comments u know someone is gonna challenge whatever is that u said,i call it like it is

  • @TUPAC1968 I have laced up the boots for a few years as an amateur boxer. I have seen Oscar spar, work out, I've seen him in live fights myself, I know first hand he does not swing wildly, he always outlanded his opponents(most times at least), those numbers don't lie. You can call him clown or whatever you want but he was a great boxer and didn't swing wildly. And please Pacquiao fought an old dehydrated De La Hoya, why would you compare a prime fighter vs dehydrated, past his prime fighter?

  • @vladiator100 :ok..vladiator..in my World,Las Vegas since 1998,i work at every casino arena where all of the big fights happen,MGM,Mandalay Bay,Thomas and Mac,etc. i saw "live" not on PPV,almost every fight from this clown ODLH,i know the INs and OUTs of the boxing bussiness,he sells TKTs and PPV buys, but he is not a GREAT boxer/fighter,yeah it looks good to see him throwing all those punches, but if you look closely what makes more damage, his or Paquiaos??

  • @TUPAC1968 You dont need to be able to knock someone out to great. All that matters is the W

  • Hey tupac1968 you are a dumb no knowledge troll. Swinging wildly? Tell that to guys like Mayorga, Chavez, Quartey, Vargas, Carr, Castillejo, Campas, Camacho, Gatti and even Mosley and Trinidad who Oscar outlanded by a wide margin of connect %, they will tell you you are a dumb troll. And I guess in your world 30 KOs in 39 wins is not a lot of KOs right? Don't post unless you know the truth about oscar.

  • Oscar sucks as a fighter, never beat anybody, just threw a lot of wild punches to buy the judges, just watch some of his fights how he would stay away and run around the ring but in the final 10 seconds he'll just start swinging wild or just barely touching the other guy to get points from the judges, how many KO's does he has?? not many if you look it up,never really beat anybody up like the good boxers,Chavez, pacquiao,Roy Jones,Tyson, winning by decision means you couldnt knock the other guy out
