  • Which is at in the last corners? Must be the second. Am I right? BTW very nice ride!! I have the same ;-)

  • @FloVoDW Yeah, the final corner is the long sweeping right hander after the chicane that takes you into the front straight. Congrats on having good taste in motos }:o))

  • ps. youve got balls of steel for downshifting this monster in mid corner, the engine brake is crazy.

  • @Grodinz Hahahah. Thx, mate. But in all honesty, if you bump up your idle to about 2,000 rpm it helps decrease the intensity of the engine braking considerably. A tiny bit of clutch feathering is also helpful.

  • Hey, what kind of camera setup are you using? Im having trouble getting any decent position for the camera without hitting my head on it?

    Thanks.

  • @Grodinz Actually it's a pretty crappy set-up I'm using. Got a Sanyo Xacty which I made something to mount it in from high density foam rubber and duct tape. I usually taped that onto the tank right at the front and, yeah, definitely had issues with hitting my helmet on it if trying to tuck under the screen.

Yeah ive tried many camera setups but because my smokes doublebubble screen is totally tinted out from the bottom i have to keep the cam quite high.

I think im going to bolt a small action camera under the headlight, theres a nice screw there to use!

  • @JapseyeOgri

Yeah, but i like it on the corner entries, gives it a bit of safe slide on corner entry wihtout using any rear brake!

Very nice bike to corner with, only problem is the throttle off/on transition, its very very snappy, wonder if i could make it less sensitive at low throttle by leaning it out a bit on low throttle in powercommander.

  • @Tdfries well, even taking the weight of the rider out of the equation, look at the weight of the bike. A 2003 RSV weighs 481 lbs. My CBR 600rr does not. Look at the 1/4 mile times and roll on times between those bikes, and you'll notice the RSV is closer to the 600 than the 1k. If you look at road racing, the twins usually have more displacement than the 4 cylinder bikes they race against to be competative (i.e. 848 in the AMA 600 series and the 1098 in WSBK)
