Is this supposed to be a valid point? Are you saying that Couric should shut up because she hasn't written a book that took two days to drop from full price to bargain bin price? Do you read what you type?

Probably because people who read and write newspapers are intelligent, and learned; they have to be. Unlike Palin, who constantly demonstrates she has no education, or knowledge of American and world history, or science.

right, bc there is absolutely not a single conservative voice in media or news. she could have just said, "listen katie, nobody reads newspapers, they are outdated. i use the internet and watch fox news." would that have been so hard? no, it would not have been. this woman is an idiot--why do ppl defend her?

Im boggled why so many people call Palin an idiot. She was a governor. That pretty much proves she's not dumb (not that being a governor qualifies you as a member of mensa). But Palin did the right thing here, maybe not in the best manner. To have named a paper would have signaled a bias and affiliation. It's hard nowadays to find a non liberal paper, let alone a neutral one.
