@aaronacj.....i dont care what happens...honda vtec heads are way more effecient than most ppl know...and high compression and boost doesnt go together but ive seen it work. its not impossible. if you got a good tune youre ok. plus, have you ever seen a high compression boosted motor on E85? trust me, it will dissappoint you if you ever run across one done right
-
@aaronacj boost comes earlier...and higher compression doesnt mean its bad for boost, it just means you can't run as much boost as lower comp. i know a few people running high comp (forged of course) with boost and they're cars run great
-
@vtecnegro85 What happens if you add boost to the higher displacement? Also higher compression and boost usually don't go well together.

@spunkyprep just will take time and money...
sell the 1.8 and buy a spec

I hate that this swap basically requires a SE-R. Keep getting told it is too much work for my 1.8S.. :( Sad-face all the time...
ohh ok cool. the se-r altima v6 would fit right?and can u keep the 6speed tranny from the spec v sentra?

@Dominicanboi1 yes, all fwd vq35de's will fit. and yes you can keep the 6 speed, just have to take it out and put it in a max/altima bellhousing

@Dominicanboi1 base swap starts around $4500, this cost a few grand more bc i had cams, nitrous, tune, headers and a little pnp
