Pigeons, gundogs, and how to get qualified as a hunter and a shooter this week.
- Andy 'Crowman' Crow is shooting pigeons with a Winchester SX3.
- The Fieldsports Channel cocker spaniel is having puppies (here's a blow-by-blow account of how to do it AND how not to do it).
You can be better through getting qualifications for hunting and shooting. Hunt staff are taking an NVQ1 in animal care, backed by the Countryside Alliance. And deerstalkers are on the National Gamekeepers Organisation's DSC1 course, sponsored by JCB.
Oh - and we announce the winner of our CENS digital hearing protection competition. It's all in Fieldsports Britain this week.

@KELCHERMINDY Only the first puppy - it was a sunny afternoon - and it's hard to move her once the pup is coming out - then we moved her inside to the whelping box to have the rest.

Are semi automatic shotguns restricted in their number of cartridges in the mag in the uk? Here in Germany only two shells in the mag and one in the barrel are allowed.
