Lyrics:

Chorus:
Asha Meredishka Vohu Man(y)a Ahura Mazda
Asha Meredishka Spenta Mainya Zarathustra

Black Sun forms the heart of the one, the Ahriman

Chorus

Black Sun forms the heart of the one, the Ahriman

White fire shines forth from the father

Black Sun forms the heart of the one, the Ahriman

Black Sun shines forth from the only one
It forms the heart of the dreaded Ahriman

The title was released on the album "Yezidi" and might still be ordered through Apollyon Records.
I have been making this video using pictures I have found in the internet. Usually I dont have any idea what I am doing so don't judge my video too strictly. This one's for the music in the first place.

  • It's a very beautiful song. Can somebody write me the words of the song?

  • @PicurRena Thanks for your nice comment. I have put the lyrics of the song into my video description.

  • @BonnyFatius80 only one problem with this song, it's about birth of bad forces. I'm try to recognize Ahriman as Shiva in hinduism, but I guess, it's have worse meaning.

  • @PicurRena No, the song is about the typical zoroastrian dualism between Ahura Mazda, the creator and embodiment of Good and Wisdom, and Ahriman who is the master of nothingness. For all I can tell dualism developped later in zoroastrian religion whereas it is hardly to be found in the oldest scriptures.

  • Supposedly it is. Asha means truth. Meredishka ... well. That appears more elusive. Vohu Mana [as it should be, not Vohu Manya], means Good Mind and, with Asha and Ahura Mazda, forms an important and central role in Zoroastrian theology. The lyrics were given to me by someone else, who uttered them incorrectly, unfortunately. Since then, I've studied it at uni, so I wish I could re-record it, but alas ...

  • It's an ancient language of persia. The Avestan texts of Zoroastrianism were those such as the Greater Bundahishn, for example.
